"a little sin keeps us humble" ---says the deceived, naive professing Christian
Do we need to sin more, so that we may be more aware of our sinfulness? Absolutely NOT. If that were true, that would imply that, the more Godly and holy a Christian becomes, the less holy he/she can become, because of the lesser sins he commits. It is not the multitudes of our sins that make us most humble and thirsty for righteousness, but rather, it is the Infinitely Immense glory of the Holiness of CHRIST. Hence why the most humble Christians are not the most sinful; the most humble and most Godly Christians are actually the least sinful and most obedient to the LORD. So, it is not that a little sin keeps me humble, rather it is that a constant drawing nearer to CHRIST, KEEPS ME CONSTANTLY AWARE OF MY SINFULNESS, SO THAT I DAILY REMAIN HUMBLE. Hence why the Bible teaches us that we are daily transformed into the glorious Image of CHRIST, not by beholding our multitudes of sins, BUT BY BEHOLDING THE INFINITE GLORY AND HOLINESS OF OUR LORD (2Corinthians 3:18)
